The Complete Asylum Haunted House
This will be the complete set of directions for creating an old crumbling Asylum style haunting. This consists of several projects knitted into a common theme. Each of those projects is detailed here. All projects will have as complete a list of materials as I can provide and as I am building it I will also have pictures of each step of the project as well. Each segment of the project will have it’s own project materials list. The tools you see at the beginning of the project are a general list of what you must have to complete the tasks at hand as well as a list of tools that if you have them will make the tasks easier and faster. You will also notice that you can tie in a graveyard with this as well. A fitting touch. If I were to grade the difficulty of this project on a scale of 1 – 10 ( with 1 = easy, 10 = very difficult) This would be a solid 10 due to the nature of the different components that were brought together to make a complete haunting. Do not start this at the beginning of October and expect to finish on time unless you have considerable help. This theme occurred to me during my 2005 haunting and I developed it during the months of November, December and January. Enough of my ramblings, best of luck to you who use this idea.

General Tools List Here is a list of the tools that are necessary to complete the projects to follow with the most favorable results. I have also included a list of tools that would be most helpful only if you can afford to buy them.

Tools I Wish I Had
|
|
|
|
- 10" Table Saw (Excellent for ripping wood to size)
- 10" Chop Saw (Great for cutting angles)
- 3" Belt Sander (Much faster for shaping and cleaning up wood)
- Drill Press (Faster and more precise for drilling all those holes for the projects.)
- Electric Cut Off Tool (Don't cut rebar without one...Much easier on your arms)
- More Types of Clamps (all of them)

Please Note: This is not a list of required tools but rather a list of tools that I know will dramatically make the jobs faster and easier if you have them already. Do not run out and buy them if you have no further use for them. I happen to already have these from other projects and know first hand how they have helped me.
