OK, there is nothing earth shattering here. The main thing I want to point out is that I spent very little on these
chillers because I did not go out and buy a new cooler to cut up. I had four old beat up and here to for
useless coolers in the garage. Well friends, they ain't useless anymore! Don't spend any more money on any
project than you have to, if you look around you probably have many of the components you need right at
home. So, what I did buy was a 3" aluminum dryer vent section for $4.99 at Menards and 25' of flexible
dryer vent tubing ($6.00). All I did was drill a 3" hole at both ends of the cooler and I drilled a 1inch drain
hole in each of the four corners. (You will have to trim out your 3" holes a little larger to accommodate the
dryer vent.) Take the dryer vent and remove the down director and discard. Cut the vent in half. Put the
piece with the flange in the hole from inside to out. Use wafer head screws and screw in place. For the other
side, cut several 3/4" slits in the remaining vent piece and fold over to a 90 degree angle. Use the plastic flange
piece to cover the folded pieces and screw in to place.

Everyone is carrying cheep fog chillers these days, but when I was at Wal Mart
and saw this very neat small 400watt fogger for only$17.99, I almost flipped. I
bought a couple of course and found that you can mount a piece of dryer vent
right on the face of the unit! Just cut back 3/4" of the aluminum dryer vent and
leave a flange piece on both sides so they will fit over the screws. Mark the
position of the screw heads on the flange and drill a small hole. Remove the
two screws, place the vent pipe in place and replace the screws. You now have a
very easy way to attach your vent pipe. I just used a couple of wafer head
screws and screwed those in nest to the spring wire of the vent pipe. Just a
note about foggers, I always buy the auto timer device at $9.95 for the
convenience. You can set the time interval and the fog emission time.
